In the case of Mukuyu-1 we drilled through approx. 1,000m of the Upper Angwa formation. Ran and evaluated wireline logs. This refined the gross hydrocarbon bearing reservoir intervals to a total of 225m (excluding source, seal and other non-reservoir material).

My question for @Kiwigeo8339 was - once typical or even conservative cutoffs are applied for porosity, permeability, saturation, etc….based on past experience through your career, what range of net pay could we expect to see out of this 225m? Is it common to only see 5%-10% for say 10-20m out of the gross 225m? Or would figures closer to 25% or 50% or greater be more realistic based on what you’ve seen in the past? Similar to what @VOGC was expecting.

I know all projects and fields are different. But I’d be keen for a gut feel on how much the 225m figure is likely to shrink to as net pay in kiwi’s opinion.

Are we in for a positive surprise when they announce this, or is it more likely to be closer to the MK-2 result is what I’m wondering.
