Absolute nonsense. If a kid leaves school now and goes into the oil and gas industry then I expect they will be able to retire from that same industry at the age of retirement
Your green nirvana can't exist with oil and gas - in fact it wouldn't even get a foothold to provide souped up golf carts without oil and gas
The sooner many deluded folks understand that this green dream can be used to complement oil and gas with things such as lower emission EV's then the better things will become. Accept that the oil and gas industry is actually instrumental in the entire construction and delivery of those cars
As to EVs particularly, I had a colleague say earlier today that his mates 5 year old Tesla has to get a replacement battery and the cost is apparently going to be $52k, with which he is in a legal dispute with Tesla. Doesn't seem to me that this figure can be real, but that is what he is saying - also I'm assuming dollars though this colleague has flown in from the UK
