Yeah the battery at end of life is an issue. But ICE have similar issues. My old X3 was only 10 years old and we had to replace the turbo (twice although second time warranty paid), the fancy ligh bulbs etc and it was getting near the well know issue in the BMW of the gear box carking it. Got $16k for it (90k originally paid). Never buying a beamer again thats for sure.
