Appreciate the point Terrortorian. It's prudent to have an element of skepticism.
Like researching stocks you need to put the effort into HC and "weed out the posters." This does take time and effort. Overtime you will be able to get a better idea of which posters you can trust more then others.
IMO @WatfordLad has been around for a long time and I believe he had the conversation with SM so he gets a light bulb / great analysis from me. Frankly he didn't need to tell us and could have kept it to himself so I appreciate very much his sharing.

In the past there has been many posters that have shared about their conversations with Scott. So to me this was not unusual.

One thing I find really useful with HC is listening to the overall sentiment. Gives a good indication of what the feel is of the market and you can use this to your advantage. I.e. too optimistic or too pessimistic.

Lastly, the Ignore button will certainly improve your HC experience!
