I'm sure this may be true but it would be interesting to do the calcs on the capabilties for mining versus the ever increasing need for fertilisers i.e the increasing use of biofuels (this I see will only get bigger) and the worlds growing population that is only increasing in size hence populating and buildng on what once was farmlands.(less farmaland means that exsiting and remaining farmlands have to produce more, hence more fertilisers)
