why would a bot be running? Well it could be a strategy related to price discovery, likely not market making or algorithmic trading ( considering the low price there isn't going to be much profit on a pip), minimizing market impact - not really going to have much of an imapct if they just bought 100k on market considering the size of the sell side, regulatory compliance - probably not orderly market conduct but could be someone testing algos to maintain algo trading compliance or is it psychological tactics? With a total of $5 worth of the company bought so far today it's probably safe to assume it's not a takeover.
