Having been a long termy on this, I've been bitten but not severely. I'm out and wish the genuine believers/posters the best of luck, though you're a minority.
I wish I'd done more research earlier, but better late than never.
Interesting articles if you search "removing phosphorous from iron ore".
Found this article that sums up the downside, which I'm sure the "Directors" have been well aware of for quite sometime!
Similar Iron Ore to KFE has been tested extensively with positive improvement, but unfortunately no where near the reduced levels of phos to become feasible.
