You are right, the Atwood group are quality operators and this ship is the 2nd of a series of 3 of this model that have/are being built. The first one has been operating for about 2 years now, but I don't have any downtime/performance reports on its activities. We should all be wary of new builds...these are modern, yet complex ships/drilling platforms and it would be ignorant not to expect issues, both marine and drilling, during the first 6-12 months. Provided they get the A team (commissioning) on board, they should be able to deal with most/all issues in the 4-6 months before the Jan drill date.
