    Roberter,

If we allow the UN to countence all sorts of evil ,not by it's silence it is always long on talk, but by it's inaction then are we not as guilty as it is, of allowing the torture and murder right now (130+ each day) of Iraqi citizens if we wait for it (not) to act.

I was looking up a bit on the Taliban and found that the UN was turning a blind eye to systematic ethnic cleansing and torture and murder of civilians for years in Afghanistan.

Need we mention the former Yugoslavia as it disintegrated. Sit down and work out how many were tortured and died while the UN talked and sat on it's hands.

Do you know about Rwanda 10,000 (ten thousand) killed every day for 100 days, while the UN talked or turned a blind eye, the list goes on and on . The UN, because of it's inactivity has the blood of millions on it's hands. And you want to wait for it to act?

What is needed is massive protests about the crimes that the UN, by it's inactivity ,has allowed and still is allowing to be perpetrated against humanity.
