That prediction got shot down pretty quickly. I see 54k options have been exercised recently. Somebody wanting a boring life and an income stream. Probably a SMSF.
The options are not rewarding anyone, they are all about growing funds under management. At one of the investor meetings they talked about a roadmap to grow to a target size and then basically close it to new investment. I seem to remember the target FUM was a total across all their international funds, not just the LIC but the unlisted trusts as well.
