My biggest concern about crypto-currencies is that they are all stored and only exist on the internet. And if the internet becomes the sphere of cyber-warfare between nations, then crypto-currencies seem like storing your gold in an inaccessible underwater vault with only one key - then the lock gets wrecked as a legitimate target of hostilities.
Anyone who has ever lost valuable or precious data will understand this only too well.
