This business won't grow the top line without the marketing spend and won't grow the bottom line with the marketing spend. Unless you buy the (IMO) BS argument about building out a loyal customer base then the standstill marketing spend is significant and the profitability of the business is fairly marginal (it is after all a price driven apparel reseller – nothing more). This was a great trade back when it listed because the market was happy paying overs for these fast growth retailers and the land grab/structural change in consumer behaviour narrative was an actual thing.
