@CEJAYM hmmm maybe... the uptake in shorters has been pretty modest (still less than 2% as of 29th July) - too hard to say.
these 2%+ movements are extraordinary for the ASX - someone noted that the Yen has deteriorated as well, which could be indicative of global risk-off selling (carry trades in JPY to invest in global markets has been a staple due to the low yield JPY - people are unwinding these positions and this could continue).
I agree it's tempting to consider buying more here... I am just going to opt at looking away for now, but I am certainly not ignoring how material these wider market movements have been .
