And keep in mind, the bottom line of MSBs findings is that in the most severe cases, 65% responded to MSBs cells. And of those responders, 84% survived at day 100. So that's a 54% survival rate using MSBs product, in steroid non responders.
This trial we are discussing above has 23 steroid non responders, 13 survivors and 10 non survivors, using second line therapies (some of which may have been MSCs) - a survival rate of 57%.
The sample sizes are so small, the purported benefit apparently the same as the current baseline benefit of any number of second line therapies - it's just not as convincing as you all seem to think.
Maybe I'm wrong. But it's good to have all the details and understand the risks when you are putting money on the line.
