Appreciate the point as I too am a long term sh. In my mind, the market deserved to be made aware of the companies intention and the forecast timeframe for making a submission following the advice from the FDA.
It is also reasonable to forecast an intent to submit in the second quarter. I would suggest that announcement that stated " we intend on filing submission in the second or third quarter' may have also raised the ire of shareholders, including myself, who would prefer a more definitive timeline and may have also afforded further opportunities for sp manipulation.
I much prefer an intent and commitment to endeavour to meet a second quarter submission target and be a couple of weeks late, than a qualification that it would be in the second or third quarter and be signalling an end september timeframe.
Not seeking to diminish others' concerns just offer a perspective on how I am viewing things at this point in time, to support my own investment thesis
