Where are those slinks on Nanu? Here are my queries again on your pick as best alternative to ZIPT that you came up with Today... Could you please answer these queries with links .. Thx
1. devices which don’t have the Nanu app installed will be restricted to 15 minutes.
2. Data Consumption of NANU unknown (likely to be bigger that Zipt)
3. Nanu only avail in 41 countries and only 9 if using a mobile phone
4. No Facility for Apple phones at all with Nanu?
On the Encyrption Patent pending...
Well actually I was incorrect in my assertion that they (Ziptel) were seeking a patent on the encryption tech used by ZIPT. Thought I read that somewhere but on back checking my facts found otherwise. In fact the technology in question is licensed from a company Sierra Connect in Bangladesh. But I'm big boy (and particularly thick skinned ) enough to admit my mistakes unlike some others here. This below quote was from the ZIP Company Prospectus.
" Technology License Agreement
AussieSim has entered into an agreement with Sierra Connect in Bangladesh Pty Lt (Sierra), pursuant to which Sierra has granted AussieSim anexclusive worldwide license to use certain technologies designed and developed by Sierra(Technologies) to enable Aussie Sim to commercialise the technologies. The technologies are implemented by AussieSim in the Aussie Sim Platform and the ZipT Platform... "
Now I can't tell you whether Sierra Connect has a patent or not conclusively ... I think they probably do... as I have seen several Tech related patents on the international Patent Database which have Sierra as the Owner,... but I can't conclusively say which one it is and I haven't the time to research further today so no links sorry. I guess some folks will need to do their own research on this .
