Most Indians aren't getting richer. They are just moving from extremely poor to very poor. Even if Indian incomes TRIPLED they would still be some of the poorest people in the world.
Indian salaries:
bank teller: 100,000 rupees = $2000 (TWO THOUSAND) per year
surgeon- 800,000 rupees = $16,000 (SIXTEEN THOUSAND) per year.
Per capita incomes in Australia (USD64,578) are FORTY times as high as in India (USD1538).
