I remember last year how BAL would mostly trade the opposite of what the general market was doing. If the market was down, BAL would be up and vice-versa. My rational for this was that when the general market was down, people were putting money into defensive stocks and when the market was up, they were getting out of defensive stocks and buying into other sectors.

Anything in the low $10s is a good buy.

I can't see BAL releasing any announcements for a few months, so there's no stimulus for it to rise much. And if it were to rise, there's always profit takers and shorters to keep it in check. If BAL was to release a profit upgrade, it would be towards the end of HY2. I think a profit upgrade this HY is unlikely given the supply/manufacturing constraints. Unless they were being ultra conservative with their estimates. The only announcement I can see happening in the next few months is Australian farms being converted to organic. Laura said they "have been in discussions for a number of different opportunities and we are at delicate stages of those negotiations". If an announcement was made about this in order to meet demand for its products, then that will push it a bit.
