Posted this in the UK tonight, Not sure if this will translate but just a bit of trivia

There was for some a sense of disappointment at the IRE coming in at only 1.4 billion BOO, got me thinking just how much is 1,400,000,000 barrels? What’s it look like?

So a standard UK 3 lane motorway is 10m wide and to clear under any bridge you need to be under 5m, you can get 4 barrels of oil on a pallet, 9 pallets across the motorway and the stack them 5 high….so for every 1m of distance you can stack 180 barrels……………………….so how far will 1.4 bb stretch at 180 barrels to the meter?
4832 miles !!! or put it another way from Gatwick airport to Lanzarote and back, and the best bit is there’s way more than 1.4bb…..
