upmarket, I see that some investments in specs are like gambling, particularly in companies hoping to strike gas or oil. Yes there are plenty of good spec stocks to sift through which the market hasn't rated high enough and the future is much brighter than their current share price / market cap. For me I haven't invested much of my portfolio here due to the high risk, however I am hoping we strike gas because of the large rewards on offer.
