I couldn't agree more re your sentiments / questions!

Unfortunately, a response with this should be via a properly administered notice from Telstra/Pie's respective boards.

With the 'wording' of the Notice re Companies HO shift to Sydney and Cam Smith's replacement (no accolades for many years service), it would appear that Pie's Board have been having an internal 'battle of personalities / direction'.

Be that what it may, a share holder update is way way overdue. Justin needs to take up the reins and be more accountable to his position.
