Look, in my limited interractions with Phil and Justyn, they both seem like great guys who want to make this company a success.
That being said, the overwhelming majority of shareholders are now underwater….. and our management team are still being remunerated incredibly well, considering that and the fact that we’re still technically a spec stock.
Anyone with any basic knowledge of dealing with investors, that aren’t paid anywhere near $300k+ per year, knows that you should always underpromise and over deliver.
Especially since two of the most recent raises have been directed at the folks you’re continually disappointing with missed timelines (your current holders!).
These attacks aren’t personal, and I wouldn’t be so concerned if they were a one off. I also have nothing against management being optimistic either.
But when you consistently give presentations to your shareholders and other potential investors, that contain timelines that you don’t stick to (and I’m not talking a month here or there, I’m talking quarters)… then that deserves criticism.
We have folks who now see this stock as a P&D stock, and folks who sell down their positions and push the SP lower because they’re take the “months behind schedule” deal as a negative sign on current negotiations + the assumption (that often materializes) of another lowball CR that will dilute us further.
Now, if management get funding sorted on good terms and with minimum dilution, which should inevitably push shareholders into profitable territory …. Then I’ll be one of the first to sing their praises and congratulate them on a job well done.
And for what it’s worth, I believe there is a good chance they’ll deliver eventually for shareholders.
However, I can only base my thoughts on the current situation … which is a delayed preFID funding + a SP in the gutter.
