Pierce's appointment had little or no affect on the sp today, however he is a former pfizer director and as such the appointment is (IMO) a significant one, network / contacts alone... Look a little deeper, I'd say some fairly interesting developments may occur, perhaps Pierce may have been tasked to re-structure things at PYC to make acquisition easier for pfizer or another company - or perhaps I'm way off the mark... (I am a biased holder you see) Otherwise, why would such a highly qualifed and successful administrator agree to come on board? Surely its not to risk his reputation...
Although formal news of Pierces' appointment hasn't set the market alight today, I for one welcome it. As usual - DYOR.
