In my opinion Grundy has knocked back a 3 year deal worth $850k at the Pies and is after one that goes for 5 or 6 yrs, potentially at the same value.
I would offer him $850k per year for 5 or 6 yrs.
More manageable than $1.5million which is maybe easier to swallow to the players too.
