Best (emotionally) that you just forget about AXM and move on.
Your angst will hurt only yourself. Just use this as a lesson. ie in future think about the risk (what you may lose) rather than the potential reward.
Any serious investor has lost money at some point. The main thing is to live to fight another day. ie control risk.
