I was mulling over this PPX versus PXU struggle last night trying to put it in everyday terms.

Finally I came up with this...

G. ( a PXU holder) gave a personal loan to a decent guy who was having a bit of a bad patch.

Next thing the poor guy gets hit by a car. G rushes down to the hospital where all the rellos are standing around wringing their hands waiting for his recovery.

G (like a modern-day Shylock) dances around gleefully
shouting "Let him die! Let him die! I can get more for his kidneys than he owes me...!"

I also note with sympathy...tinged with sadness... that one regular PXU poster makes many contributions between midnight and 3am.

I picture him wearing his nightcap and slippers, sitting on a tall stool at a rough wooden table, the whole scene lit by a single flickering candle.

In front of him is a pile of dusty yellowing manuscripts.
With his quill at the ready he is checking every comma and apostrophe for the thousandth time..

All the while he continually mutters..
"The kidneys are all MINE.."
