The PIL way of signing on new agents is a labour intensive exercise and I like it way as it maintains high standards. Their focus is on the integrity of the applicants and training. So I can live with slow incremental growth.
It's also the WA way doing business where high standards are second nature and culturally ingrained.
The alternative east coast way would be to go for the quick online registration approach; the quick buck approach. But that would lead to substandard performance in the agent network in no time and reputational damage.
