at this stage who knows without being privy to the rumours in Karratha, but if I was to have a stab in the dark I would expect NST, bill beament is a mining engineer who likes to buy cheap and commit funds to exploration to ensure mine life.
he already has a large stake in our neighbour VXR and could be tempted to take a stake in DEG with a view to mine everything in that area, and it's all cheap at the moment.
maybe someone here from Karratha could share the scuttlebutt and we may have a clearer picture, or ring ARV or DEG and see what they are hearing on the rumour mill, but once the results come back for comet well and if good/great with multiple layers of gold thru the different layers, then you would have to expect a major to commit funds and declare their intention.
just my opinion and could be wrong, again.
