It would take a fair amount of resources to keep on top of the ins/outs of the share market, if it could be done at all. It does sort of lend itself towards manipulation when you have huge companies etc with billions in the bank aggressively engaging in the market in order to achieve under handed outcomes. I guess this is why we have our investment security agencies, useless or not?!
Certainly the investment lead by China in the lithium concentrate supply has lead to an oversupply in the market driving prices to a unsustainable price level. Bad planning all round? Deliberate intent? who know's
