There are three types of FTO academic studies in progress:

1. Studies looking at the effects of FTO genetic knockdown, e.g. on a particular cancer. 90% of the studies are this type. No drug is required. These people have all read City of Hope 2020, so they know about CS1 and bisantrene.

2. Studies on the effects of FTO chemical inhibition using a drug. e.g. the Chicago paper. They chose bisantrene because they expected that it would be effective. It was an incidental check on bisantrene, but that wasn't the purpose of the study.

3. Studies looking for a better FTO inhibitor. These people are the only ones who somehow have have never heard of CS1 or bisantrene.
