FTO expression reduces dox-induced ferroptosis, which contributions cardiotoxicity. However Bisantrene inhibits FTO so the reverse is true. FTO inhibitors likely promote cardiotoxicity, which was something Mason pointed out recently.
Despite the above Bisantrene protects against cardiotoxicity and thus is super unique. Retaining its FIC BIC status.
