Dr T - do we know much about the ‘positive’ role of FTO in our bodies? I’m not a biologist (learning a lot from my Rac investment), but I get the impression that because we are such highly evolved creatures that everything in our biological/biochem systems plays some important role/function.
I’m just wondering if by inhibiting FTO we are playing with some other function that we don’t want to mess with (a side effect I suppose).
