A cluey shareholder might be able to do this, but this is not going to turn the board all into scientists.
More seriously, the shareholders don’t want a board composed purely of scientists. You want a board composed of people from a diverse background with a skill set that complements and allows the company to do all the things it needs to do well. If we just had a bunch of scientists we might do some amazing research, but all this research might not translate into a good return for our shareholders.
