The last sentence should read;
RAC are set to initiate a PII Breast cancer trial in late stage metastatic patients resistant to other therapies. I suspect based on the compelling preclinical breast cancer results and the relationship between FTO overexpression and ER+ subtype that the patients used in the PII BC trial will be ER+ patients. Patients with this molecular subtype will be similar to the patients who had cancer cells taken and transfered to mice in the abstract above.
Currently awaiting more detailed results.
