I hear what you are saying and apologize for any misunderstanding. If you have done plenty of research, then I would be interested to know what your thoughts on risk are and happy to discuss.
The majority of II and Wombats points above could be grouped together into execution. The list of potential things that could go wrong with execution is quite large. Research is very challenging and even when everything is lined up correctly, things can still go wrong.
A good place to start is to read review papers on the risks and challenges involved in running clinical trials.
As far as evidence goes, RAC are in a very good position. As far as a new molecule coming out to compete as an FTO inhibitor, RAC are in a very good position.
