I think your response is out of proportion & language is harsh ( & unwarranted) - I am certain no one intends any slight or resenting of you or questions . My belief is that your response has come from within you , & is your reaction .
I don’t think people think how you perceive or think that they might - people do not want to generally be horrible or seeking to diminish anyone.
