Hi all,

I have a technical question but am not a technical person. Does this intermediate sulphate product keep? Is there a shelf life? Does it continue to mature while in storage waiting for stage two refinement? I think there are time limits with a final carbonate product but someone could probably correct that too if I have it wrong.

a two stage process usually allows greater flexibility to customise end products - like McDonalds hamburgers. Is a similar flexibility hinted at in this announcement? One of the technically minded posters might be able to comment.

If so this flexibility seems a good thing, especially if the wider market is still figuring out what chemical blends it requires in an optimal battery.

also, would LPD benefit from blending two sulphates (one from Portugal and one from Namibia) to average out the chemical qualities in the sulphates mix before the final processing into carbonate or hydroxide?...or does it make no difference in the end?

if this has already been answered a link to that discussion would be great so I can have a read.
