You really need to do your research. LNC conducted their trial burn 1999 through to 2002. The trial burn was successful. LNC restarted the Syngas last year and have been flaring it since. LNC has been working on CTL using UCG as a feedstock since 2004, so after 4 years of working on it I am sure they have got it figured out by now.
