I wonder if the grounding of 3 Boeing 767's has anything to do with the fact that there are now not enough first officers to crew them, since large numbers have left and gone to the competition. Qatar and Emirates must be rubbing their hands together. Qantas trains the pilots at great expense then "gifts" them to the competition to enable the expansion of these middle eastern carriers. This in turn facilitates Qantas's own demise. AJ has got it all worked out and deserves his 71% payrise. Such genius is so very hard to find and must be rewarded accordingly! Tongue firmly in cheek!
