The actual cost of the product, including packaging and the energy bought in to run the spray drier would be a very small part of the retail cost.
i recall a friend who worked at senior level for large brewery explaining that the cost of my can of beer can was a few cents for the beer, around 12c for the can. Add some transport costs. All the rest is tax, promotion and advertising, and retail margin.
