@gimmegimme - Pine Labs is "aiming" for a US$5bn valuation. It's last valuation was US$2bn. Just like WeWork years ago "aimed" for US$47bn valuation, and in the end (still playing out) was valued at less than $10bn. Anyway, yes let's do the A$ equivalent and say that Pine Labs is valued at A$2.6bn from its last valuation (vs IOU at A$200m today).

But - Pine Labs is an excellent company, and if it does get that US$5bn valuation that is going to be a very good thing for IOU. A rising tide in SEA, should carry all BNPL boats that have got good traction and are well capitalized.
