G'day Bonzaboy.
M8, I do not know where you shop or what government services you come into contact with but prices are really hotting up in my neck of the woods.
The price per item does not always go up, but if it does not, then check the quantities on the packet as I am willing to bet that they are dropping which ads up to the same thing - more money per gram!!
That's "price inflation anyway", but the true meaning of inflation is "an increase in the money supply", and who can argue that that is not happening.
The gold price tends to lead the actual event by about 2 years anyway, so if price inflation, and I mean real vicious price inflation, is 2 years away then gold will start to strengthen now.
The government must have inflation or they are knackered, and they know it, so do not believe what they tell you as official figures, you can be sure that it is here and will increase out of sight.
