There he is, sitting in New York being paid US$1.3 million a year as chief of a "think-tank" into who knows what and he's still having to defend himself over the death of 4 working blokes.
Apparently his "kitchen cabinet" inner circle of 4 consisting of Rudd, Gillard, Swann and Tanner (not hard to see why the country absolutely buggered now is it) that was running the country at the time were given an update that highlighted "critical risks" in the pink batts scheme.
He's saying nothing. But his spokesman says it was nothing to do with safety. Seems odd for a risk management risk register. In the royal commission Kevin said he received no warnings of risks, but he also said he only received an update in February 2009 (the risk register was given to him in a report in April 2009).
Gillard has refused to comment. Point blank, she's not interested.
