As for their cruel treatment giving them a feeling of power (and I don't view it as an excuse),you're probably
right.Must be very frustrating having to live in poverty,
deliberately kept uneducated by their motley collection
of tyrants,equally uneducated/medieval "imams"twisting
Koran to suit their purposes.
