Next weeks administrative hearing regarding the license of Pinon Ridge Uranium Mill, should assist in some positive sentiment for BLR.

Energy Fuels is currently waiting for the final approval of a state permit for the Pinon Ridge project in Paradox Valley. The permit is pending a court-ordered public hearing, which the Colorado Department of Public Heath and Environment has set for Oct. 15 and Nov. 7 in Nucla. Energy Fuels officials say its recent acquisitions will not detract from its efforts to build Pinon Ridge.








GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Energy Fuels has reached a settlement with Telluride and San Miguel County in a lawsuit aimed at halting construction of the company's proposed Pinon Ridge mill.

The Daily Sentinel reports the settlement has Energy Fuels participating in a monitoring program for the watershed above Telluride. Town and county officials also will be allowed to inspect the mill and mines that feed it.

The Telluride Town Council has approved the settlement. The San Miguel County Commission is scheduled to vote on it next week.

The settlement doesn't cover two other plaintiffs in the lawsuit. One remaining plaintiff is the Sheep Mountain Alliance, which also challenged state health officials' decision to issue a license for the proposed mill. A new administrative hearing on the license is scheduled to start next week.
