Perhaps the debate would be better served by questioning the competance and greed of the directors rather than dwelling on which city they live in. Having said that, I feel a great urge to respond to the comment "Don't forget that Perth and WA are holding up the whole country. Without us lot, you lot on the east coast would be stuffed." I assume you refer to the random series of geological events from millions of years ago that resulted in a shedload of iron ore existing within the WA borders, combined with the industrialisation of Japan and then China ofver the last 60 years creating an insatiable demand for said iron ore?

I would have thought a sensible priority for all of us is to put country above state given we are a federation, but each to his own.
