I will say this about the oil and gas sector thats in it's favour, Coal is starting to look less likely for future power generation, and gas is being seen as an economical and practical alternative, have a look at clean coal technology shares, looking a bit top heavy lately.
Gas reached it's low a while back and is now slowly rising, nothing significant, but still heading in the right direction.
