Glen Ogg was the first patient to receive CCS from Dr Greenwood's bio reactor.
CCS was developed by Greenwood because CEA was not working on top of BTM and so that spit skin grafts would no longer be required. I do not think that CCS will be a big money maker. From what I saw at a presentation I attended by Dr Greenwood his Bio Reactor was a plastic cabinet about 1 cubic meter that could be Made in China for $100. CCS uses a 1mm thick sheet of BTM as the base material for the CCS to grow on and this is placed on top of the patients BTM after 28 days.
The CCS would need to be made onsite and looks like it would require a lot of man hours to make it.
