Based on the prices they have paid to buy into FMS it doesn't look like they have much better information than the rest of us

Territory Resources (an iron ore play) gives a good case study of a previous significant investment. OCJ (and Ouyang) hit the substantial holder list in December 2008 with 13,327,000 shares (5.04%) at an average purchase price of $0.4971. OCJ dropped off the substantial holder list in January 2010 when they sold just 300,000 shares. In June 2011 TTY received an offer from Noble Group subsidiary Jonesville to acquire all shares for $0.50 per share. So they got in early and picked up 5% of the company for ~$6m, to walk away with a paltry profit of ~$38000.
