It could be day trading by definition, or it could be short term / swing trading i.e. hold for a couple of days to play the volatility e.g. surrounding announcements. Also momentum trading is another term for this. (There are a lot of different 'definitions' out there, and a lot of blurred lines between them IMO, so don't stress about trying to define them scientifically, just accept them as broad strategies)

"what is "T/A” and “F/A”
TA = Technical analysis, i.e. charts, looking at the 101 different indicators (RSI, VWAP, MACD, Bollinger Bands, whatever is appropriate to the situation and to the strategy. TA has almost nothing to do with the company, whether you're trading lithium stocks, or a new brand of cat toys - just look a the charts.

FA = Fundamental Analysis. i.e. looking at the company, everything from financials, the commercial viability of the product, timelines, approach to entering the market, competency of management, understanding the market sector, understanding the announcements and how they impact the trajectory of the company, etc. It almost has no reliance on the charts.

Generally speaking, "Traders" will reply more on TA, and "Investors" who are in it for the long haul will be more reliant on FA, so when the SP falls, traders/TA will run, but investors/FA will remain.

All IMO - I've only been doing this for around 9 months but this is how I have interpreted the game thus far.
